New technology for surface treatment of PVC sheet to enhance weather resistance


A new surface treatment technology for PVC sheets has been unveiled. This technology utilizes plasma treatment process to form a nano level protective coating on the surface of PVC sheet, which can effectively block the corrosion of the sheet by external environmental factors such as ultraviolet radiation and acidity. After simulating outdoor environment testing, the PVC sheet treated with this surface has improved its color stability and mechanical performance retention rate by more than 50% compared to untreated sheet under long-term sun and rain conditions, significantly extending the service life of PVC sheet in outdoor application scenarios.
