Microstructure control of PET sheet enhances barrier performance

The research team has successfully improved the barrier performance of PET sheets by regulating their microstructure. By utilizing advanced nanoimprint technology, ordered structures at the micrometer and nanometer levels are constructed on the surface of PET sheets, which can effectively hinder the permeation of gases and moisture. Test data shows that PET sheets with microstructure control have improved barrier properties against oxygen and water vapor by 40% and 35%, respectively, compared to ordinary PET sheets. This achievement will help improve the application effect of PET sheets in high barrier packaging fields such as food and medicine.

Innovative PE protective film bonding technology reduces bubble generation

In the application of PE protective film bonding, the problem of bubbles has always troubled users. Recently, an innovative bonding technology was born, which uses a special vacuum bonding equipment. During the bonding process, the PE protective film is first pumped to extremely low pressure with the air on the surface of the object being bonded. Then, through a precisely controlled pressure roller, the protective film is uniformly bonded to the surface of the object with uniform pressure. Through practical application verification, using this technology to bond PE protective film reduces the bubble generation rate by more than 80%, greatly improving the bonding quality and efficiency, especially suitable for fields such as screen protectors that require extremely high bonding effects.

Expanding the application fields of PVC sheet and PET sheet composite technology

A new technology has been developed to composite PVC sheets with PET sheets. This technology uses special adhesives and hot pressing processes to firmly composite two materials together, making the composite sheet have both the flexibility and chemical resistance of PVC sheets and the high strength and transparency of PET sheets. This composite sheet can be applied in fields such as new building decoration materials and high-end electronic product casings, expanding the application boundaries of the two materials and providing new material choices for product innovation in related industries.
