Significant progress has been made in the biodegradable technology of PET sheets
With the increasing demand for environmental protection, the biodegradable technology of PET sheets has become a research hotspot. Recently, researchers have successfully developed biodegradable PET sheets by modifying the molecular structure of PET and introducing biodegradable segments. In the natural environment, this type of sheet can gradually decompose under the action of microorganisms, greatly shortening the degradation cycle. At present, biodegradable PET sheets have been tested on a small scale in some food packaging fields with good feedback, and are expected to replace traditional non biodegradable PET sheets on a large scale to alleviate plastic pollution problems.
